The Old Farmer’s Ball has a community list-serve to help
facilitate communication among dancers on dance-related topics. To join, simply send a blank e-mail message to ofb-subscribe@yahoogroups.com You’ll get a reply from Yahoo asking you to confirm. Just send a reply to that message, and you’re on the list! If you don’t like it, you can get off the list by sending a blank e-mail message to: ofb-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com If you’re having trouble, send a message to the list owner at ofb-owner@yahoogroups.com. NOTE: The OFB listserve is for OFB business and dance-related information. Please do not use this list to promote non-dance related interests such as political views, opportunities for political action, health and wellness, or any other activities. The OFB is a remarkably diverse group of people with a wide range of political views and lifestyles. Please do not assume that everyone shares your perspective or other interests. Our common interest is SOCIAL DANCE. Alternative method for joining the listserve: · Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ofb/ · Click “join this group.” If you don’t have a yahoo ID, you’ll need to create one. But don’t worry, it’s easy and free. Just click “sign up.” It will take you to a quick form to fill out (you WILL have to give a little bit of personal info, which could be true or false, as you choose). You’ll get a yahoo e-mail account, but you don’t have to use it. You can enter your own e-mail address with some other provider to receive messages from the listserve (but you still have to establish your yahoo ID). How to read past messages: Use your yahoo ID to sign onto the site. On the left, click on messages. |
